Top 5 Beauty Advert Calendars 2019
‘Tis (almost) the season and that season is Beauty Advent Calendar season! Most of the big brands are seeing the benefit of releasing beauty advent calendars now, with up to 25 sought-after products in a beautiful holiday package. What’s not the love about adding a range of your favourite products to your beauty shelf in one go?
With so many on the market, and most of them released in around a week, I thought I would do a round-up of the top 5 on my wishlist and why they’ve made the cut:
1. The reason I am even writing this post is because I saw the amazing Sali Hughes unboxing this bad boy on her instagram the other day and WOW. Liberty have done it again. Worth more than £600, you can snap up this calendar for £215 from October 16th and the best thing is that it comes in a full-recyclable box!
There are so so many products I want from this including a full-size Byredo hand wash, a full-size Herbivore Orchid Oil, a MALIN + GOETZ Grapefruit Cleanser and of course a full-size Diptyque Candle. I have to say it’s a hard decision which calendar I want the most, but this is currently coming in top of my list.
Available online from 16th October and in-store the same day at 9am. I am sure this will sell out QUICK and I will be first in the queue.
2. The BIG DADDY of beauty advent calendars… Net-a-Porter. This LUXE set is a pricey £225 but when it’s worth £790… it’s worth it.
If you really love someone this holiday season… and I really love myself… you’ll get them this! Mum if you’re reading this I REALLY WANT IT.
This one has 15 full-size products and 10 travel sized. Items like the Barbara Sturm Anti-Aging Prime, Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser and Hourglass Deluxe Size Blush have me drooling.
There’s no direct link or release date for this, but I would keep an eye on the Net-A-Porter site as no doubt it will go quick!
3. Coming in 3rd is the 1st ever advent calendar by Cult Beauty and they have gone all out for their first time. This amazing box contains £680 worth of goodies for only £195. Bargain!
This one contains some of the biggest names in the business and icon products like Dr Barbara Sturm eye cream, Glow Recipe’s Watermelon moisturiser and The Ouai’s leave-in conditioner.
The products I would be most excited to get my hands of from this box though would be the Omorovicza facial oil, Patchology eye gels and Sunday Riley Deluxe Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment.
There are soooo many goodies in this one I am totally tempted. I can’t find a release date but you can sign up to the waitlist here. I know I have!
4. The SpaceNK Calendar is next on my list. They have done something a little special with this beauty which comes as a ‘Beauty Anthology’ split into 4 books to help you prep for the holiday season. This one launches on 1st October for £195 but contains a value of more than £400 - so totally worth it!
I love SpaceNK and get most of my skincare treats from there. This box is packed out with some amazing goodies and I am most excited to see a full size Olaplex product (been wanting to try this brand), some Drunk Elephant goodies (always love to see those) and a 111Skin Rose Gold Sheet Mask.
I am going to really struggle not to buy this the minute it comes out on the 1st. You can join the waitlist on the SpaceNK site.
5. The last on the list, and available now if you want to snap it up early, is the John Lewis & Partners Calendar. This beauty comes with 25 lovely goodies including a full-size Neom candle, NARS bronzing powder and full size Dermalogica daily micro exfoliant.
The good thing about this calendar is that it’s the cheapest of the bunch at £150. Although this also means the value is lower - only £255 - which is still a great deal.
I would probably give this box as a great gift to those starting out in beauty but if I had to pick my top 3 items I’d be most excited to see behind those doors it would be the Benefit brow setter, the Bobbi Brown cream shadow stick and the Elemis Pro Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream.
