Top 5 Beauty Buys Under £10
It doesn’t take a lot to spend an absolute fortune on beauty products… trust me, I would know! However, there are some amazing products out there that, quite frankly, should be more expensive (that’s not a suggestion btw). Thank God they’re not though because here are my top 5 products under £10!
There are probably way more products out there that fit into this category but I am simply sharing the ones I know and love and use regularly. So here we go:
Indie Lee Toner
Number one on my list is absolutely the Indie Lee alcohol free CoQ-10 toner. Ok so it is exactly £10 rather than ‘under £10’ and it comes in a mini size, but OMG this is one of my favourite products. I got it whilst I was in the US and it came as part of the discovery set. It’s a spray toner, which I had not used before and tbh I didn’t quite ‘get’ toners for a long time. However, this has changed my skin! Unlike many toners, it doesn’t feel too harsh on dry or sensitive skin, it keeps the moisture in and acts as an excellent prep for my serums and moisturising products. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.
2. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid
To be honest I could have put anything by The Ordinary in this post because all their products are insanely good value. Serums, oils, moisturisers pretty much all for under £10. However, I thought I would talk about a product I use often which is the Hyaluronic Acid. This product is enhanced with B5 and it’s supposed to leave the skin feeling soft and hydrated. I can only agree with this. I think if you’re looking for hydration or to start using acids you could not find a better place to start than with The Ordinary products.
3. JapanFusion Cleanser
Ok there is a caveat to this being under £10 - you have to be a BeautyPie member. I was a member when I purchased this so it was just £5.74 which is a total bargain. If you have not heard of Beauty Pie it’s basically a beauty subscription service where you pay a monthly cost to get premium skincare and make-up products for a fraction of the price. Not only do I use this product in pretty much all my good instagram pictures, but I use this as my second cleanser everyday. I do a double cleanse and whilst I usually prefer my first step as a balm cleanser (currently using Slaai by Drunk Elephant) this is my ultimate second cleanse product. It really takes off make-up well, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry and it feels as though it balances my skin out. I would recommend this.
4. NYX Micro Brow Pencil
If you know me, you’ll know I am obsessed with brows. I have been for about 10 or so years now - around the time I started regretting over-plucking them in my younger years. So, I have tried a huge number of brow products in my time. This, for now, is my favourite one. The micro brow pencils from NYX are small enough to get that fine hair stroke effect but also waxy enough to fill in larger areas. I like that I can get my shade which is very dark but not black (I use Espresso) and the best thing is it’s only £9. Absolute bargain. I just need a bulk set because I get through so damn much (although to be fair they do last about a month with me using it daily!).
5. Elf Hydrogel Under Eye Masks
If you follow my instagram (@BeautyGlow_Girl) you may have seen me use these a few times. I bought my first set around Christmas time. I passed a stand in Boots and thought I would give them a go and I was really pleasantly surprised. Elf is not a brand I had used before but I really love these masks for a hit of under-eye hydration. To be honest I am not sure they are not going to change your under eye area or correct any lines etc (I don’t think anyway) but then they don’t claim to. They say they plump, moisturise and soothe which is exactly what they do. I feel so refreshed like I have been drenched in cold water (but in a good way). Great product and only £9.
