My Top 3 Friday Favs

I use a fair few products in my weekly and daily routines so I thought once a week I would share a little review of my favourite three products of the week and why they’ve made it to the top of my list.

My Weekly Top 3 Beauty Products

It’s always difficult to pick just 3 products as there are so many I use on a regular basis and love, but I will try to stick to some newer products which I have not been using forever…

Pixi Beauty - On the Glow stick

My number 1 product of the week is (drumroll please) the Pixi On-the-Glow stick. I got this a while back when I was having a skin nightmare - I think I had a reaction to the hard water whilst staying away from home. That’s really how sensitive my skin is! Anyway, I went on a hunt to find some hydrating products to try to correct whatever the hell was going on. I bought new moisturisers and serums and probably used it as a bit of an excuse to go a little crazy. But I couldn’t resist this little moisture stick - mainly because of the name - it was made for me! So anyway, you can use it as a hydrator for lips or dry areas but I have been swiping it on after my SPF and just before I put on my foundation. I get fairly dry on my cheeks throughout the day usually but this has made the world of difference. If feels really moisturising and hydrating and has been keeping the dryness to a minimum. And if I do get dry throughout the day I just swipe this on again, it’s a handy travel size so easy to carry around. This is a 10/10 for me. Get it here.

Kylie Cosmetics - Goals velvet

Second on the top 3 list is my absolute favourite velvet liquid lip from the Kylie Cosmetics collection. This one is called ‘Goals’ and it really is! I am very fair and it is the perfect colour for me. It’s not so red it drains my colour and has a pink tint rather than orange which I really like as pink on me can look a little much. I am a big fan of Kylie Cosmetics - especially the velvet formula. When the mattes first came out I can understand why people were not keen as they were quite drying but the velvets really work for me. They are so pigmented you need hardly any products so they last forever, they stay on without being so staining you can’t get them off and the colours looks great. Charlotte Tilbury - Bar of Gold

And last but not least, it’s the Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold. I’ll be honest, I have had this product since Christmas but I keep coming back to it. What I like about it is that it’s a nice creamy texture, you can get different colours depending on your colour palette that day and the highlights are not SO blinding. Don’t get me wrong, I love a blinding highlight, but sometimes you just want an everyday dewy skin look which I think this is perfect for. If you were going on a night out you might need to build on it, but for that subtle ‘good skin’ glow this is a go-to for me. Also, you don’t need to apply with a brush which is nice as it blends nicely using your fingers. A definite winner - available here.
