A Piece Of The Beauty Pie

I joined Beauty Pie a few years ago. It’s hailed as ‘exclusive luxury buyers’ club’ and I was excited to try their range. The concept is fairly simple - you pay a monthly subscription to get access to luxury make-up and skincare but at knock-down prices. The range is developed using the same labs as the big brands except doing away with the the big brand names and packaging means we beauty lovers get an affordable price tag. So… the big question… are they as good as the big brands when it comes to the products? Read on to find out.

I’ve spoken a lot about Beauty Pie and what I think are some of the best products on the market. I’ve recommended it to many and even give the gift of Beauty Pie to a few of my friends . I loved the concept but the proof is really in the pudding or in their case, the products. And everything I have tried, I have loved. Here are my top products - updated from my previous top 5.

Super Healthy Skin Nourishing Body Polish

I’m not the hugest fan of body products, or at least I never used to me. This is one of the few that has changed my view on this. This scrub is the epitomy of luxury. I wanted something that would exfoliate but also hydrate my skin and leave it feeling smooth as well as moisturised. This is it right here. Full of some amazing ingredients like Omega 3 and Omega 6 Oils, Mango and Papaya Enzymes, antioxidant vitamin E, smoothing Apple Stem Cell extracts, Coconut Milk and real Orange, Lemon and Tonka Bean essences - what more could you want? And the smell? If someone could capture how luxury smells, well this is it right here. Get it for only £13.13 as a member - oh and the tub is MASSIVE.

Double-Sided Organic Cleansing & Exfoliating Cloths

Ok it sounds a bit pathetic but I bloody love a flannel. I use them daily and there is just something exciting about getting out a crisp new one. It’s like when people have a thing with stationary and you give them one of those pencils with loads of leds… this is what this cloth is to me. A super cloth. Ok, I am overdoing it a bit but for less than £7 you get these double-sided cloth that works to remove make-up and cleanse the skin. I spend A LOT of my monthly budget on these!

Super Healthy Skin Ultralight UVA/UVB SPF25

It takes me a long time to find a good sunscreen but I love this one. It’s light without being greasy and super moisturising without being overly thick. My only criticisms are that I wish it was SPF30 and I wish it came in a bigger package. However, for the price I do like this sunscreen a lot. And it’s under £10 - bargain!

JapanFusion Pure Transforming Cleanser

When I first purchased this cleanser I didn’t think that much of it if I am honest. However, when my old cleansing cream ran out I started using this daily as my second cleanse in the evening and then later, my morning cleanse. This crazy concoction is a gel-to-oil-to-milk cleanser (who knew that was even a thing?!). I love how gentle this is on my sensitive skin. It doesn’t leave me feeling dry, it removes the last bits of make-up and SPF and leaves no residue. I need a new bottle right now. And member price? £6.91! Bargain.

Pro Perfect Setting Powder Brush

I am a sucker for a good make-up brush and whilst this is more of a finishing brush, because it’s so thick and densely packed I actually use this as my blush brush. It’s soft, fluffy, barely sheds and feels like the ultimate luxury brush. If you’re used to using great brushes (I love Morphe) then this will fit into your routine seamlessly. If I was to buy more from Beauty Pie I would definitely go for more of these - especially given the price of a decent brush compared to the member price of £6.71 for this one is absolutely insane!

All In Wonder Illuminating Primer

If you follow my Instagram you might have seen me mention this bad boy on my stories a while back. This for me is an absolute favourite from Beauty Pie. The coverage is insane - it’s a perfect dupe, I think, for the Chanel CC cream. Given it’s a primer that’s a hard task. The only thing I wish they would do is bring out more shades. They have this light one which works for me as I am so pale and a slightly darker shade but if your skin is darker then this really won’t work for you. For me though it illuminates and actually eradicates the need for foundation. Amazing. Member price £6.60 - love!

FutureLipstick - Satin

I added this one to the bag, frankly, because I wanted to cover my whole spending limit one month and didn’t think a lot of it. I tried to get the shade that most matched my natural lip colour and went about my day. But when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It contains Vitamin E and ingredients to plump out your lips making this very much a non-drying lip stick. The high pigment also meant I had to use very little to get a big benefit. This one will last forever and feels more like a balm on the lips. Lovely. And only £4.93 for members.

Pro Glow SuperStrobing Drops

I went for these drops originally because I hadn’t yet got my hands on the Iconic London drops which I’d been wanting for a while. To be honest, I have not used these as much as I would have liked. The gold is not totally the right shade for my skin tone but I did love how the highlight glides on. I would like to (with the right shade) try these mixed with my foundation for a bit of glow. The shade is certainly eye-catching and I found this super durable. Next time I will go for a different shade and at only around £7 for members, it’s definitely worth it!
